A member of the faculty since 1924, he has written three books, one of them on "How to Run a War," and could easily do a fourth on baseball statistics.

KNIGHT, Professor of Economics, has been a member of the Dartmouth faculty since 1924 and a full professor since 1935. He has taught courses dealing with economic principles and the economics of international peace. Professor Knight received his B.S. degree from the University of Utah in 1921 and taught at the Universities of Michigan and Wisconsin before coming to Dartmouth. He is the author of several books in the field of economics: How toRun a War, Economic Principles in Practice and Economics:an Introductory Analysis of the Level, Composition andDistribution of Economic Income, the last of which he wrote with Prof. L. G. Hines of Dartmouth. Professor Knight was awarded an honorary M.A. degree by Dartmouth in 1935.
