Joseph G. Edgerly was re-elected superintendent of schools for the city of Fitchburg, Mass., for the thirty-fourth consecutive time, at the meeting of the school board held April 6. It is needless to say that this is a remarkable record, and evidences a rare adaptation to the work of education and to the local conditions among which he has been placed.
