Three smokers have been held within the past month. On January 20, Rabbi Fleischer spoke on the subject of "Democracy", and on January 27 representatives of the graduate schools of Dartmouth spoke on the subject of "Opportunity". President Nichols spoke on the general subject of the college man's opportunity, and was followed by Doctor Gile and Professors Fletcher and Persons, who talked on the different departments. On February 10 a smoker was given in the form of quartet selections by the Imperial Male Quartet of Boston. The program was interspersed with several humorous selections by Mr. Russell, and solos by Mr. Knowles and Mr. Aldrich. The seniors held a class smoker on February 12, at which a constitution was adopted, several members of the faculty spoke, and special music was furnished by members of the class.
