The Tucker Scholarships, which are available for the first time this year, have been awarded to members of the three upper classes. The scholarships, which are for fifty dollars each, were given to seventeen seniors, seventeen juniors, and sixteen sophomores. In the awarding, the committee took into account, first, the efforts of each candidate towards self-help; second, his scholarship; third, his importance in general activities of the College; and fourth, the promise he showed of future success in life. The committee consisted of Dean Craven Laycock, Professor F. A. Updyke, and Mr. H. M. Tibbetts.
