WESTERN MISSOURI ASSOCIATION

I am pleased to advise that under date of February 9, a few Dartmouth men in Kansas City met for the purpose of organizing a Western Missouri Alumni Association or Dartmouth Club. We had found that no such organization existed in this section of this or neighboring states, and, while we could find but a few men from Dartmouth in this section, we decided to make a beginning at least. An informal luncheon was held at the City Club in Kansas City, the following men being present: J. W. Perkins '64, Francis M. Hayward 'BO, P. W. Thomas '03, M. D. Brock '06, Wm. Hashley '05, nongrad.. and C. F. McKnight '04.

An organization was perfected, and Francis M. Hayward 'BO was elected president and C. F. McKnight '04, secretary. The name of the organization has not yet been decided upon: but we will probably arrange to take in the near-by, smaller towns in Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. I was instructed by the meeting to notify you of the organization.
