The American Magazine for June has an interesting illustrated-article by B. C. Forbes on the career of the president of the American Telephone and Telegraph Company, under the caption: "'Things often just happen', says Harry B. Thayer. Yes! But Mr. Thayer's story proves that things sometimes have a way of happening to a fellow who knows what to do with them when they happen."
