CLASS OF 1903

F. O. Hale has been elected Vice-president and general manager of the Illinois Bell Telephone Company. Mr. Hale has been in the telephone business since his graduation, and has held various positions with different companies in the Bell system.

O. A. Mechlin, formerly consulting engineer in Washington, D. C., has become associated with W. G. Triest in the Triest Contracting Corporation, New York city, formerly known as the Associated Contractors, Inc. During the war Mr. Mechlin was commander in the Civil Engineer Corps, U. S. N., in charge of the construction of the large concrete army and navy office building in Washington. Later he was attached to the League Island Navy Yard.
