The Technicolor Motion Picture Corporation have been developing a new colored motion picture process with flesh tints reproduced clearly and accurately. The company's first picture, "The Toll of the Sea," was given in November at the Rialto Theatre in New York. It ran a week, and produced the largest receipts ever produced by any one film. This picture was developed by the engineering concern of Kalmus, Comstock, and Westcott, Inc., of Boston. Prof. Charles A. Proctor spent a great deal of time on some of the technical features of this new proposition. To date over a million dollars have been spent in the creation and development of this particular process.
