Louis Foster announced on his reply card for the class dinner in New York that Althea Jean Foster was born on September 8. He is therefore "kept at home evenings."
Just a few members of the "old guard" were present at the class dinner in New York on October IS Scully, Catterall, Dessau, Ashton, Allen, and Remsen.
On October 20 the phone rang and Tubby Merrill informed the Secretary that he was "uncle" to a 9¾ lb. boy born that morning. Theodore Chase Merrill, his mother, and his father are all doing well.

Jack Borland is associated with D. Antolini and Company at 110 Hudson St., New York city. He was in town for the Harvard game and the smoker at the City Club.
Chum Hayes staged a very large and crowded dinner dance at the Hotel Garde in New Haven after the 14 to 14 game with Yale. There were many Thirteeners in town from New York and from the New England cities.
After the Harvard game on October 25 the class gathered with 1914 and 1915 at the Hotel Lenox under the leadership of Emmett Pishon. "Son Emmett" was aided by Johnny Johnson '15, Clyf Chandler '14, and Judge Priddy '15. Among the out-of-town 'l3ers present were Dot and Paul Harmon and Robbie Robinson from Portland, Bart and Renza Shepard from Derry, Al and Heth Dessau, Frank and Mrs. Dudensing from New York, Chuck and Barbara Riley from Haverhill, Mass., Bill Pierce from Rhode Island, Chum Hayes from New Haven. (Chum wants it recorded that he came sober.) There were too many present to list, for over 160 were served dinner.
Warren P. ("Babe") Smith has been placed in charge of the Rochester, N. Y., branch of J. G. White and Company of New York. He can be reached at his office ask Rochester Information and is waiting for the next Dartmouth Club meeting.
A. C. ("Tenny") Thurman is with the Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company at Raleigh, N. C. Already he is planning fdr the 15th, as he had to miss the 10th.
