DARTMOUTH MEN IN THE STATE GOVERNMENT

In the new state government of New Hampshire, inaugurated in January for the years 1925-1926, the Dartmouth delegation is headed by Judge Jesse M. Barton '92, of Newport, former president of the state senate, now member of the executive council from the fifth district. In the upper branch of the legislature are Senators Frank L. Gerrish '78, of Boscawen, and Arthur P. Fairfield '00, of Hanover.

Dartmouth has a distinguished contingent of IS members in the House of Representatives, led by former Chief Justice Frank N. Parsons '74, of Franklin, chairman of the Judiciary committee, and former Governor Albert O. Brown '78, chairman of the Ways and Means committee. Another Dartmouth chairman is Prof. James P. Richardson '99 on Railroads.
