Dr. Arthur Fairbanks has resigned as director of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, a position he has held since June, 1907. Following graduation he had taught at Dartmouth, Yale, Cornell, the University of lowa, and the University of Michigan. In 1898-9 he was a fellow at the American School of Classical Study in Athens.
At the New York Dartmouth dinner, held at the Hotel Plaza on the evening of February 3, the following were present from the class: French, Hanson, Harris, Hatch, Kelly, and Thurston. At the Boston dinner, held the following evening, were Dr. Edgerly, Hatch, Newton, Sampson, Snow, and Stetson. More than 600 were in attendance at each dinner, and both were in every way enjoyable.
