J. B. McAuliffe '16, line coach of Dartmouth's football teams for the past three years, has accepted an appointment as head coach of football at Catholic University in Washington and will take charge in the fall. McAulifife, who was captain of the Dartmouth team in the fall of 1915 and was one of the outstanding tackles of the year, has had considerable experience in coaching since his graduation. He was in full charge of the Dartmouth line last year and consequently had a great deal to do with the undefeated record which the varsity maintained throughout the season.

Following graduation from Dartmouth he accepted the position of head coach at Marquette University and under his tutelage the Milwaukee team swamped its rival St. Louis University 66-0. He was head coach at Colby in 1920 and 1921 and returned to Dartmouth in 1922.
