John C. Moulton, a non-graduate member of the class, who is director general of Minas del Tajo, S. A., Rosario, Sinaloa, Mexico, writes as follows: "After many years in Mexico in all parts and on many lonely trails I have had my first experience of being held up by bandits. Ten of the brutes presented themselves at our house, which is the same building as the general office, and demanded the cash. I swore that I could not open the vault, and finally convinced them that I was telling the truth. I remembered that there was a little bullion at the mill, and offered them that. They accepted, and left with about $400 instead of some $10,000 that was in the vault. I will say that I do not care for another 45 minutes such as that was."
