Mrs. Marion Adams Stevens, wife of William L. Stevens, died January 31 at Concord, N. H., after a short illness. She is survived by her husband, a son, William L. Stevens, Jr., and two daughters, Jeanette A. and Louise B. Stevens. The deep sympathy of the class of 1903 is extended to them all.

A son, David Poole Kidger, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Horace Kidger of Newton, Mass., on December 29, 1927.

Oscar Mechlin is a consulting engineer for the Raymond Concrete Pile Company of Washington, D. C., with a home address at 1402 21st St. Oscar writes that he hopes to be at this address for some time to come, and would be glad to see any classmates who are visiting Washington.

W. H. Conner is now traveling through the United States and Canada for the Winthrop Chemical Company of 117 Hudson St., New York. Hayden recently wrote from Montreal that he expected to attend the 25th reunion in June.

A recent issue of the Chicago Tribune contained a picture of the new office building at Howard and Tremont Sts., San Francisco, which is being erected for Butler Brothers and in which Follett will preside. There will be over four hundred other employees. Although we regret that Follett will be so far from Hanover, we still hope that he may be with us in June. It may be news to some of us that this well known Chicago mail order house was originally located in Boston.

A recent clipping from a Newton, Mass., paper reads: "Aldermen favor act to establish a new pensioning system. Following the motion made by Aid. Harry W. Fitts a resolution was passed by a vote of 16 to 0 at an adjourned meeting of the board of aldermen Tuesday night requesting Mayor Childs and City Solicitor Bartlett to appear before the 1928 General Court in favor of legislation that will enable the city of Newton to establish a contributory pension system for city employees."
