Vanquished earlier in the season by Yale the Dartmouth skaters were out for vengeance in the annual Carnival game but the local forces were again defeated. By the score of 4-3, Yale and particularly its brilliant wing, Palmer, demonstrated its superiority in the matter of hockey teams. Palmer scored all four of the Yale goals, even though handicapped by mediocre ice. For Dartmouth Capt. Lane, Bavier and Gardner scored, but desperate efforts in the final minutes of play were not enough to even up the score and force the game into overtime. Several hundred Carnival guests and their escorts watched the game.
