On February 29 the Dartmouth alumni of Boston held a special luncheon at the University Club in honor of Dartmouth men who were in the city attending the School Superintendents' Convention. '92 was there with the largest delegation from any one class. Geiger from Tacoma and Bliss from Trenton were the star attractions, and Gil Brown, Emerson, Lamprey, McDuffee, Miller, Strong, and Weston were there to greet them. Geiger was just down from Hanover, where he had spent a few days with his son who entered in September. Geig was tremendously impressed with what his son had gained even in these few months, and believes Dartmouth is really delivering the goods.
Don C. Bliss Jr. was married a few days ago, and has sailed with his bride for Singapore, where he is to represent the United States in a large area in trade relations. He has had some years' experience in China and India.
Albert E. Rogers has lately become a fraterin urbe. He has moved from Newport to Hanover, and has joined the forces of the HanoverGazette.
The Secretary has recently received a long and interesting letter from Bernstein. He has had more than his share of bereavements in his family during the last few years, and has himself had a serious nervous breakdown. He is much better now, and is picking up the threads of life again. He wanted to be cordially remembered to you all.
If Eke seems unusually silent the next time you meet him, you'll know he caught it when he and Mrs. Hall sailed down the Potomac with the President and Mrs. Coolidge one Sunday in February.
At this writing (March 9) I have just heard that Whitney Brigham is at the Deaconess Hospital in Boston for treatment of some stomach trouble. He is gaining, and expects to return to his home in a day or two.
