It is evident that our memory cannot be trusted at all times, and it is because of such a lapse and consequent misstatement that this correction is promptly made. Dick Clarke's insurance activities are carried on under the caption of General Cover Underwriter, in the development of which he is devoting the major portion of his wakeful moments.
The time is quite near at hand when we shall receive reminders of the Alumni Fund and our privilege in connection with it. It is planned that the extraction this year shall be quick and painless, so make up your mind to dig deep and quickly—in which event the pain is less severe.
This information did not come direct from Carleton, for he is not given to promiscuous correspondence, but nevertheless the source is authentic. Carleton Bardsley is associated with W. A. Harriman and Company, 89 Broadway, New York city, as an industrial engineer. He and the family live in South Orange, N. J. There must be quite a 1915 colony down in that neck of the woods, if they could be corralled.
The dinner committee of the Philadelphia Alumni Association listed President Priddy among the speakers at their annual gathering recently. Copies of the speech may be had on request. Hal Budd and Thornt Pray were present to give Al the necessary moral encouragement. By the way, Al and Marguerite will undoubedly be enjoying some of that famous California climate which we read so much about while we are reading this item. They entrained March 8, and planned to be away a month or more.
Again the John L. Fergusons have moved. This time it is back to 509 North Rosedale, Tulsa, Oklahoma. "Miles I Have Traveled" by a geologist's wife ought to make good reading.
We are glad to get the proper address of Dave Markham, for we have written Dave in the past without result. Dave is at Fayetteville, Ark., presumably teaching.
Ed Douglas gives his occupation as funeral director, and as far as the class records are concerned has no competition among 1915ers. Ed's home and office are at the same address, 7 Charles St., Methuen, Mass.
