"Daily Technique for the Organist," edited by Professor Homer P. Whitford, has gone on sale in Hanover. From the introduction we learn that "This edition of scales and arpeggios for pedals is designed to meet an apparent need for a brief and concise system of pedal technic, with modern footing. The work has been arranged in seven divisions, with suggested piano technic for the organist, for convenience in daily use."

Professor A. H. Chivers is the author of an article "A Comparative Study of Sclerotinia minor Jagger and Sclerotinia intermedia Ramsey in Culture" which appears in Phyiopathology, vol. 19, March 1929. This article contains the results of physiological experiments on Sclerotinia, a destructive disease of crops.

Professor John Barker Stearns is the author of an article "On the Ambiguity of Catullus XKV.8-9 ( = 17-18), reprinted for private circulation from Classical Philology, vol. XXIV, No. 1, January 1929.
