Mr. Robert D. Brewer, treasurer of the Provident Institution for Savings in Boston, has been elected president of the Merchants National Bank of Boston. Mr. Brewer, after graduating from Harvard Law School, practiced law until 1918, and in that year he went to Washington with the United States Pood Administrator. Prom 1919 to 1921, he practiced law with Ropes, Gray, Boyden and Perkins. In 1924, he became assistant to the treasurer of the Provident Institution for Savings, and later its treasurer. He is also a director of the Boston Real Estate Exchange, and vice-president of the Boston Chamber of Commerce.

About seventy-three men have indicated their intentions to be present at the Twenty- fifth Reunion at Hanover in June. A large number of these men also plan to go with their families to Waterville Valley to the hotel owned and operated by Dave Austin.

It is the expectation of the Secretary of the class that the Class Report will be in the hands of the class about May 20.
