Harold Stanton began his duties with the opening of the college year as professor of languages in the University of New Hampshire. Harold, who holds the degrees of Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy from Brown University, has been engaged in the teaching of the Romance languages ever since his graduation from Dartmouth. His teaching positions have included ones at Rumsey Hall at Cornwall, Conn., Bates College, Chauncy Hall School in Boston, English High School in Boston, Rutgers College, Brown University, and North Carolina College for Women. He was holding a professorship of Romance languages at the latter place when called to New Hampshire.
Francis Childs served as delegate from the Alpha of New Hampshire of Phi Beta Kappa at the centennial celebration of the Alpha of Rhode Island, held at Brown University on September 27.
