Without asking the consent of the Secretary, the Alumni Editor ventures to note in the class news the presentation to Alfred E. Watson at the annual town meeting at Hartford of a silver-mounted gavel, in recognition of the 35th consecutive year of his service as moderator of the town meeting, to which office he was again chosen.
