To the second annual intercollegiate key convention on March 15 given by Dartmouth's Green Key came more than 50 delegates from 25 colleges throughout the East. For entertainment the Green Key gave banquets Saturday afternoon and evening, and acted as host to the representatives at the Players' Journey's End performance and at its own first Green Key Prom. At the banquets, speakers outlined the foundation and work of the Green Key, Cornell's Red Key and McGill's Scarlet Key. A committee was appointed by Chairman Martin of the Green Key to draw up a series of suggestions ideal for a college entertaining body; Sunday morning these were discussed by the entire group. The delegates expressed themselves as favoring annual conventions and a central committee of five colleges with a Dartmouth man as chairman were selected to maintain the connection between the various keys. The convention was undoubtedly the most important single success the Green Key has ever attained and it is practically certain that a number of colleges will organize similar student bodies to act as official welcoming groups for visiting teams. Attending the conference were delegates from: Cornell Red Key, McGill Scarlet Key, Holy Cross Purple Key, Williams Purple Key, Hobart Orange Key, Pennsylvania State Blue Key, Colgate Maroon Key, Bowdoin White Key, M. A. C. Maroon Key and societies from Army, Buffalo, Boston College, Columbia, Colby, Maine, Middlebury, M. I. T., New Hampshire, Northeastern, Norwich, Pittsburg, Springfield, Syracuse and Yale.
