"Quinze Contes Franjais," selected and edited with vocabulary and notes by Howard F. Dunham with a foreword by Fortunat Strowski, has been published by PrenticeHall Inc., New York.

"Thoreau Philosopher of Freedom-Writings on Liberty" by Henry David Thoreau, selected, with an introduction, by Professor James Mackaye, has been published by the Vanguard Press, New York. Professor Mackaye is the author of an article which appeared in the Journal of Philosophy for February 17, 1930, entitled "The Theory of Relativity: For What is it a Disguise?" This article was read by Professor Mackaye at the meeting of the American Philosophical Association in New York, December, 1929. Because of the interest in relativity, this article received mention on the first page of several New York papers and has been commented upon very favorably both in the United States and abroad.

The Quarterly Journal of Economics for February, 1930, contains an article by Professor Bruce W. Knight, "Control of Investment versus Control of Return in the Regulation of National Monopolies."

"The City of a Thousand Secrets" by Professor Eric P. Kelly '06 appears in the issue of the Horn Book for February, 1930.

"The Public Control of Business; a study of Anti-trust Law Enforcement Public Regulation and Government Participation in Business" by Dexter Merriam Keezer and Professor Stacy May will be reviewed in a later issue of the MAGAZINE.

"Economics" by Professors Bruce W. Knight and Nelson L. Smith, in two volumes, has been published by the Ronald Press of New York City. This book will be reviewed in a later issue of the MAGAZINE.
