Jim Pringle has been appointed commissioner of the State Department of Education of New Hampshire, to succeed Ernest Butterfield, who has resigned to assume the Connecticut commissionership. Both Pringle and Butterfield have served this department for twelve years—Pringle as deputy, and Butterfield as commissioner.
Albert H. Morrill, recently elected president of the Kroger Grocery and Baking Company of Cincinnati, has been elected a director of the Commercial National Bank and Trust Company of New York.
Ben Marshall, who for the last year and a half has been acting pastor of the Piedmont Congregational church of Worcester, Mass., has been asked to become regular pastor.
