Engineers Meet in Hanover
January, 1931

The fall meeting of the New England section of the Society for the Promotion of Engineering Education was held in Hanover under the auspices of the Thayer School of Civil Engineering last month. The session was attended by approximately 55 teachers of engineering, representing, with one exception, all the institutions in New England where engineering is presented. The principal speaker of the session was Professor Chester L. Dawes of Harvard who presented a paper on "Graduate Study in Engineering in the New England Colleges."
