At the monthly meeting of the Dartmouth Club of the Plainfields, held Thursday evening, October 1, 1931, at the Frank I. Donnelly Post rooms, the meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Walter L. Hetfield 3rd.

Bills for stationery and notices of meeting amounting to $16.77 were ordered approved and paid.

Arthur M. Hassell presented a report of the by-laws committee. Said report was adopted as read.

The meeting then proceeded to the election of two additional members of the board of managers to meet the requirements of the by-laws, and Arthur P. Hassell '28 and Gwynne A. Prosser '28 were elected to the board for the term which expires September 30, 1932.

Plans were made to celebrate Dartmouth Night Friday, November 13, at the Watchung Valley Country Club, where moving pictures of Dartmouth College will be shown and dinner will be served. The committee in charge includes Arthur P. Hassell '28, George F. Hetfield '31, and John Herpel '28.

Plans were considered for a dance December 28 for undergraduates who may be at home during the Christmas vacation.

The Club is hopeful that the outing branchof the New York Dartmouth Club will decideon a site near one of the lakes in this vicinityfor building one of its famous club cabins. The meeting adjourned at 10 P. M.
