YALE GAME
To try and sit down and remember clearly anything that happened on that wild afternoon in New Haven is asking the impossible however, we have impressions of having seen the Reycrofts, the Maclntyres, and Holdens, the Joe Myers and Lagays; and among those present sans family, Heinie Wright, Howard Myers, Pete Robie, Arch Earle, Bob Paine, Trott King, and Mike Donehue. Between the halves, Arch Earle, Frank Lagay, and Joe Myers were emitting a bit of close harmony, and after the game there was a small gathering at Bob Scott's of those who didn't have to catch trains or something.
HARVARD GAME
The night-before dinner at the University Club was a rather small but very select affair. Skinny Barrows, Forrie Emery, Howie Stockwell, Tommy Thompson from Brock- ton, and Sunny Sanborn all drifted in early. Then appeared Hunk Stillman, Dick Murphy, Roger Stone, George Currief, and Eddie McGowan, bringing along a couple of good 'l7ers by adoption. Finally Spike and Bunny rolled in, and the dinner could really start. In true Jimmy Walker style, the beaming face of Len Shea appeared in the doorway about a half an hour late.
Having promised to take the kid to the game this year, I parked up in the wooden stands, but sent the frau down to report on the behavior in the class section. Of course the report I got was a more or less useless one on the style of hats and the taste in neckties; but I did learn that Butch Sherman lived up to tradition and appeared with a new girl, and also as usual, she appealed to the eye as well as the intellect.
SANBORN DIETING
It was very apparent at the class dinner that Sunny wasn't quite himself, and he finally admitted to being on a strict weightreducing diet. He would not admit, however, that there was any girl in the case. We must admit that Sunny may need something to keep from getting puffed up; for he recently published, in collaboration with a certain Mr. Clark, a limited edition of "A Bibliography of the Works of Eugene O'Neill." This book received a most flattering review in the New York Herald Tribune. I wanted to print a few of the most complimentary passages, but lost my copy, and Sunny was too modest to send me one.
CUPID SCORES AGAIN
Sometime last spring Bunny Holden led an attractive young lady from Providence, Miss Mildred Hathaway, to the altar and kept her there long enough to make her Mrs. Kenneth Holden. They are living somewhere in the wilds of Pawtucket, R.I., Hope St., I think.
BIT BY BIT
In the last Sentry we. reported Spike Maclntyre married but couldn't give any details. We can now report that it happened in September, her name is Ruby, and she's one of the better eggs.
