Through the California Dartmouth Association comes the information that Michael O'Malley is now associated with the Manila Finance and Discount Corporation with a business address of Hescock Building, Manila, P. I. "Mike" in the past has been president of the Philippine Trust Company, Manila, and of the Fidelity and Surety Company of the Philippine Islands. We hope that "Mike" and his family will find it advantageous to return to the States about next June for the 30th reunion and some minor matters, such as Philippine finances. Just because the Philippine Islands are west of California well ask "Mike" to stop over in San Francisco long enough to gather the ever increasing quota of 1903 men on the Pacific Coast. Tim Lyman, Herb Follett, Frank Wentworth, Wynne Matteson, Dave Bradley, Herb Kelley of the Navy, Bill MacLennan, Lester Williams, Carl Worthen, and Fred Mansur are all out there. There surely is material for the filling of a special car for the 1903 30th reunion train.

Herbert Follett, the 193 a president of the Northern California Association, writes most interestingly of this Dartmouth Association. It seems most remarkable that out of a possible fifty members who are within reach of the association's weekly noon-day luncheons the average attendance is from twenty to twenty-five members. "Herb" is with me on this Pacific Coast representation at the 30th reunion, and you Atlantic Coasters must soon lay plans for something beside good weather for these Westerners.

Jim Cresswell is reported as having left California for Texas. His address is unknown at present, but a gushing oil well will undoubtedly tell the story. If any of you readers have learned of Jim's location, drop me a line.

The chapter on "Swede" Perham of last month was so well received by you Potholeskers that a second seems to be in order, and here it is. A wild old potholesker yell followed by a prolonged ringing of the door bell one Sunday afternoon announced the arrival of the Mudges and the Perhams. But what's the use, I never could write a book anyway. But you fellows can imagine the dandy reunion we all enjoyed to the utmost. Andy, slender, smiling, jovial as ever, with that same old twinkle of the eye, a little gray of hair, showing that he was keeping pace with the rest of us, and just as interesting in personality as ever; and Mrs. Perham, who has never attended an official '03 reunion, but who has given me her promise to bring Andy back next June for the 30th—a real Georgia peach. Time slipped by all too rapidly, and once more I became indebted to "Oat" Mudge for a good time not to be forgotten.

Artie Bolster and family were reported to be enjoying a vacation this summer at Wallace Sands, near Rye Beach, N. H.

Bill Stevens, the Judge William L. of Concord, N. H., participated in the dedication of the memorial bust of Daniel Web- ster at Franklin, N. H., on October 12. Bill, dressed in carnival costume and mounted on the old gray mare, appeared in picture form in the Manchester Union of recent date. It seems that the Stevens family has long been actively interested in the placing of a suitable memorial at Webster's birthplace, and on the above date Bill ably represented that interest.

Roy F. Bergengren Jr. and John Follett, son of "Herb," are reported members of the freshman class this year.

Speaking of boys having hopes of entering Dartmouth, a principal of a high school, an '03 man, when asked if he was sending any boys to Dartmouth now, replied, "You ought to know we are not. The Dartmouth that you knew is where your short pants are." Thus is progress.
