Class of 1877

Mrs. Emlie May (Herschler) Farnsworth, widow of our classmate, died October 21 at her home in Arlington, Mass. We made her acquaintance when she attended our Fortieth with her husband and her son Winston, later of Dartmouth '24. Besides this son, two daughters survive her. After her husband's death she was matron of the Maiden (Mass.) Home for Aged Persons for several years and then for six years house mother at the Sargent School in Cambridge, retiring nearly three years ago.
