With the coming of the first snowfall, the D.O.C. has come out of its sulk and is already making preparations for the next Winter Carnival. The date has already been definitely set as February 10th and nth. The policy of having a two-day Carnival which was instituted last year is to be continued this year due, in the crisp language of the Outing Club statement itself, "to present conditions."
There has been a playable surface of ice in the Hockey Rink for several days, which is, if we remember rightly, a rather earlier date than usual. Offered this happy condition coupled with the proposed trip to Lake Placid during the Christmas vacation, the prospects for a good team seem brighter than in the last few years.
