The death of William L. Blossom occurred on July 22, after a brief illness, cardiac trouble. He had not been in good health for several years. Classmates Gage, Sanborn, and Welch attended the funeral services. A biographical notice will appear later.
From the class of 1883, Great Falls High School (now Somersworth, N. H.), three members entered 'B7, Richard Eastman, C. C. Gardner, and W. S. Ross. At the fiftieth reunion of that class last June in Somersworth, Mary Eastman presented $lOO to the city as a prize memorial fund in memory of her brother, who died of pneumonia junior year on his return from a term of teaching. The proceeds of that term were placed at interest, and a part of it resulted in this gift. W. S. Ross sent a poem, "After Fifty Years," which was read at the reunion and later published in the Somersworth Free Press.
Robert Pearmain Bingham, youngest son of Judge Bingham, was married July s8 to Anita Cross, daughter of Rev. Allen Eastman Cross. The ceremony was performed in New York City.
Mrs. S. G. Emerson resides at 1980 Oak St., South Pasadena, Calif., where she keeps house for her two daughters, who are teaching. She retired from her position of college mother at Pomona College after twelve years of service.
H. O. Cushman has been at his camp at Rock, Mass., recuperating after a severe illness during the summer.
