Frank Hazen has left, temporarily at least, his ranch in Acushnet, Montana, and is back in his old home, Lewistown, where he is county commissioner. To this office he was elected in 1930, for a six-year term. During recent months, practically all his time has been given to the duties of chairman of an emergency committee handling all relief work in the county.

Mrs. George H. Hitchcock, Washington Court House, Ohio, reports the marriage of her son Hiram to Sara Nell Maddox, of Georgetown, Ohio, November 28, 1930. There is a grandson, George Hiram, born November 23, 1932.

George B. Kingsbury, for many years a teacher in the Hartford, Conn., High School, was married July 23, 1930, to Miss Laura Estella Glazier, also of Hartford. Following their marriage they went to the Pacific Coast, as far as Vancouver and up to Prince Rupert. On the return trip they visited the Grand Canyon.

Since the death of the former postmaster, last December, Burt Redfield has been acting postmaster at Dover, N. H. His son John is a sophomore at the University of New Hampshire, taking an engineering course.

Following his usual custom, Warden spent a few weeks in the East in April and May. He attended the annual meetings of the Associated Press in New York and the American Newspaper Publishers' Association in Washington. The Secretary has no doubt but that he did many other important things while away from his home base, and he has evidence that his work as agent of the Alumni Fund was carried on effectively in spite of his absence.
