Malcolm Stearns was elected chairman of the board of governors of the Dartmouth Club of Northern New Jersey at their annual meeting in April. This, and a few other things, qualifies him to lead the 'OB parade at the 25th reunion in June.

"General" Knox sailed May 11 from Rio de Janeiro for New York, and will be on hand in Hanover to tell us about revolutions, senoritas, and why Brazilian milreys are not worth much in American dollars. We think the General travels as far as any reuning alumnus, and does he enjoy getting back with the old gang!

Gordon Blanchard annexed an excellent new job the last of April, with the Collins Paper Company. Gordon has been in the writing paper manufacturing and distributing business for many years, in Holyoke until a couple of years ago, and since then in New York with his home in Scarsdale. Mort Hull and wife spent the last week-end in April with the Blanchards, and they held a preliminary reunion. Mort and his cannon aim to be first on the campus mornings from June 16 to 19 inclusive.

The reunion costumes have been ordered. They are modest; if you wear something else you bring it with you. The 35th, you know, is tax-exempt, preferred, and non-assessable, offered only to 'OB men, and everyone has a share.

We hoped to give you all the particulars about the dormitory and rooming accommodations, class dinner, and other plans, but the magazine goes to press too soon, and you'll all have it in bulletins before this appears.

String Hale, New Hampshire state forester, was called from Concord May 7 to help fight a serious forest fire in Merrimack. May 7 was Sunday, but that makes no difference to state foresters when the woods are on fire. String and his tall son spent a few days in New York in April and were piloted around by Larry Symmes.

If you haven't done so yet, hunt around for pictures. Pictures in Hanover between 'O4 and 'OB. And of course we want a rec ent photo of yourself for the gallery in the 'OB headquarters in June. Bub Shaw, who says he is coming all the way from Longview, Wash., is said to have some interesting old pictures.

The following is taken from the New Haven Register of May 4:
