357 Fourth Ave., New York As prepared by JOHN V. PHELAN 1160 Great Plain Ave., Needham, Mass.

We present as our first exhibit of a series which we hope to carry on through the entire year, a recent picture of our Class Baby, Miss Martha Irene Bennet, charming daughter of Chuck and Mrs. Bennet of Evanston, Ill. Patsy, as she is known to her parents, will be eight years old on next Valentine's Day and is going into Grade 2A this fall. We hope that Chuck will bring her to our 10th Reunion which is not so many years away. We hope that we will be able to present to you a picture of the oldest boy among our class children in the December issue. We must admit that we have not yet established his identity, so that the first one to send in a picture will get an editor's decision.

The Greater Boston boys have been getting married in such rapid succession that we seem to see some evidence of the effectiveness of the NRA in this vicinity. On September 28, Mary Eaton of Wake field became Mrs. Kenneth F. Graf. A very pretty wedding was held in Wakefield, with a brilliant reception at the home of the bride's parents following the ceremony. Frank Thurston was resplendent as an usher, while Hazen Sturtevant and Larry Martin were among the guests present. Ken and Mary left by boat for the South, and will spend some time in the Carolinas.

On September 29, Miss Alice E. Smith of Maiden became Mrs. Howard Rogers. Howie is practicing law in Boston and has been a member of the City Council in Maiden for over a year, and will be on the council for at least another year. He's probably on the road to the mayor's chair.

"BIG GREEN SIEVE" MARRIES

On October 13, Miss Mona Scaife of Worcester will become Mrs. Loren James Westhaver, formerly of Melrose, but now of Worcester. Frank Thurston is going to support Hony as he approaches the altar and will undoubtedly lend considerable dignity to the occasion.

Other newly married local boys are Geff Glendinning and Mort Jennings. We will have the details by the time the next issue goes to press.

The Alumni Fund collectors have unearthed a large number of new businesses and addresses, as follows:

Don Benjamin is now with the U. S. Envelope Co. at 21 Cypress St., in Springfield, Mass.

Dick Canton,'also recently married, is selling for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in Worcester and now reports an address at 64 Chatanika Road, Worcester.

Johnny Ullman is a buyer of cosmetics with the J. R. Libby Co., and gives a new address at 37 Kenwood St. in Portland, Me.

Eliot Wakeman is with McKesson & Robbins and lives at 8 Elm St., in Fairfield, Conn.

Walt McKee, who has spent most of his time since graduation in Brussels, has recently completed a business tour of most of the large cities in the United States under the supervision of the National City Bank of New York.

Ed Lyman of Springfield and Harvard Law School argued a case successfully before the Supreme Court of Massachusetts recently, and established himself thereby as one of the leading lights of the younger members of the Springfield bar.

Hank Moore, star sprinter, is in business with his father, manufacturing screw machine products at 44 Farnsworth St., in Boston.

Many of the boys are planning to visit the Harvard Stadium on October 27 to see what Myles Lane has taught the Harvard backs. Myles is now assisting Eddie Casey at Harvard, having the backfield candidates under his control. Myles was quite successful at B. U., and should make something out of some of the faster Harvard backs. I understand, however, that Myles is holding out on the boys slightly until after the 27th.
