Stan Miner transported this administration to the Maine game at Hanover, October 13, and during five or six hours there we met a few of the faithful. Cliff Watson was on hand, of course, it being his belief that no game is official unless he is present. The Kilmarxes, who are assisting Coach Blaik this season, were also present. We saw Herb West in the first blow of parenthood, Gaylord Anderson, famed microbe fighter, and Gus Cummings, the mighty atom. Gus intends to spend the winter in Boston, although he will go to his home in Florida at Christmas time. We tried, without success, to see Hamilton and Olsen.

Dick Wood picked up the following from the Boston Herald for October 27:

"Historic Dartmouth College's campuswill be the background of a film you'll seesometime around spring. One of the lessercompanies, Chesterfield, has bought thescreen rights to the mystery novel turnedout some months ago by that Hanoveralumnus, Clifford Orr, and called 'TheDartmouth Murders.' Another Wah-hoo-wahian, Charles Belden, has been assignedto adapting the tale for celluloid, andcamera men are at the moment on theirway to the Dartmouth campus for whatare known as 'background shots.' "

We congratulate Cedric Porter on being admitted to the law firm of Dike, Calver & Gray, with officers in Boston and Detroit. Ced has been with this firm ever since he left New York.
