Your secretary hereby pulls in his horns and announces the purchase of a calendar. When the happy prediction was made in the November issue that full details of the Princeton dinner and dance would appear the following month, it implied neither a belief in miracles nor a complete collapse of scheduled dates—merely that November 24th was then so far distant that it merged with all future plans. Even now, though you read this after football is enveloped with moth balls, the time of writing is well in advance of Princeton events. So, for those who see proof runs on the MAGAZINE, or those who missed the dinner and dance; it can be announced with a slight inversion of tenses that this organization held a dinner and dance on November 24th at the Essex County Country Club in West Orange for the amazing sum of two dollars per person. By January it may be possible to report the number in attendance and any slight anecdotes arising from such a celebration.

The one item of interest to the secretary is to request that any alumnus in Northern New Jersey who either failed to receive or received with faulty address a mailed notice of the above rumpus, please write, telephone, or otherwise communicate with the secretary to supply the correct information. At the same time remember the Newark lunches. If you fail to receive notices of these and are interested, vent your woe to Gus Wiedenmayer '29 at the National Newark and Essex Bank.

Secretary.
