A rather impressive looking notice from New Haven, Conn., announces the formation of the law firm of Daggatt and Hooker. I. Gordon Colby Jr. will be associated with them.
Also in Connecticut is Don Proudman, now assistant trust officer of the New Britain Trust Company.
Ken Murdoch, formerly of Cleveland, is now an undertaker out in Marion, lowa.
A recent issue of the Boston Post carried in part the following article under an excellent picture of Dr. John H. Holleran: "Dr. John H. Holleran of the Boston CityHospital is receiving scores of congratulatory messages from members of the medicalprofession and his former classmates uponhis recent appointment as night executiveat the hospital to fill the vacancy left bythe retirement of Dr. Lawrence J. McCarthy, who has entered private practice." After leaving Hanover, Jack entered McGill University Medical School, from which he graduated in 1932. He then entered the Boston City Hospital for his interneship. On Monday evening, April 2, the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Boston held its first annual smoker and pretzel party at the Copley Plaza Hotel. During the course of the evening a great and distinctive honor came to the class of 1927 when their fiveman relay team won the beer drinking championship. The team was made up of Gus Cummings, Bill Prescott, Doane Arnold, Rog Bury, and Phil Fowler. Needless to say, the ex-world champion Fowler drank anchor man. Other '27 men whom we saw at the smoker were Bill Spinney, foe Kelly, Jay Willing, Charlie Bartlett, Hal Low, Sykes Hardy, Dinty Gardner, and Bill St. Amant.
Fred Whittemore dropped into the office to see us the other day. He is now working for the Economy Chain Grocery Stores.
We bumped into Ron Michelini at the University Club not long ago when he was home for his spring vacation. Ron is down at the Westminster School in Simsbury, Conn., where he is teaching and coaching football, hockey, and baseball. We understand he has some great rivalry with A 1 Fusonie and his Taft School teams.
As another June approaches we find fewer and fewer bachelors left in the class to provide us with news of approaching nuptials. However, we can start the ball rolling this year with the news that Bill Prescott will be married to Miss Katherine Snow of Springfield, Mass., on June 9.
Don't anybody write us a letter before the next issue, the shock would be too much!
