Advance information about the Commencement program to be followed on June 15-18 will be mailed soon to all reuning classes, which this year include 1884, 1889, 1894, 1899, 1904, 1909, 1914, 1919, 1924, and 1929.

The Fifty Year Class, this year the class of 1884, will be the honored group according to custom and will occupy the place of honor at the Commencement luncheon to be given by the Trustees to the graduating class and alumni on Saturday noon, June 16. The luncheon, which is customarily held in the gymnasium, may be held outdoors this, year.

The major events on the 1934 Commencement schedule follow:

Friday, June 15

Registration of alumni and arrival of Commencement guests and parents of seniors.

Evening reception by President and Mrs. Hopkins for seniors, their guests, alumni and faculty, to be followed by the Commencement Ball.

Saturday, June 16

Class Day exercises will be held in the morning, the Commencement luncheon at noon, and the alumni parade to the Cornell baseball game in the afternoon.

Reunion class dinners and the presentation of Iolanthe by The Players will take place in the evening.

Sunday, June 17

President Hopkins' Baccalaureate address will be delivered in the morning, reunion class outings and picnics held in the afternoon, and a concert by the Musical Clubs presented in the evening.

Monday, June 18

Graduation exercises, including the conferring of honorary degrees, will be held in the Bema.

For the third year, the final Commencement exercises will be held in the Bema in College Park. In case of rain, the exercises will be shifted to Webster Hall. Concerts by the Dartmouth Band will be given throughout the Commencement period, and class reunion events not formally scheduled will be held on each of the days.

Through special arrangements with the railroads, a round-trip rate of a fare and one-third will be available for those journeying to Hanover for Commencement. Identification certificates, which are necessary for obtaining the special rate, may be secured from class or club secretaries or upon application to Sidney C. Hayward, secretary of the College. The round-trip tickets, which will be good for a period of 30 days, may be purchased by alumni and the guests of graduating seniors.
