Aviation enthusiasts in the College have banded together to form a new Dartmouth Flying Club. Officers elected just before the spring recess are Donald C. Bunting '34 of Wrightstown, N. J., president; Roger C. Williams '36 of Chestnut Hill, Mass., vicepresident; Emil W. Hokanson '36 of Milwaukee, Wis., . secretary; and William G. Gilmore 3d '34 of Brooklyn, N. Y., treasurer.
Members of the club have begun ground training at the Twin State Airport in White River Junction, with Mr. Bugbee in charge. Several of the members who hold pilots' licenses will assist in the instruction.
Members of the club are required to obtain parental consent before they are permitted to begin flight instruction, and student-pilot permits, involving a physical examination by a certified air commerce physician, are also required.
