The Tuesday luncheons have been well attended this summer and we expect a big- fall. Undergraduates will be our guests on the 10th. The new freshman class usually attends 100 per cent as this gives them a grand opportunity to meet their new classmates. An invitation is extended to alumni in Philadelphia on Tuesdays to come down and have lunch with the gang at the club, 1219 Spruce St.

There are four sons of Philadelphia alumni attending Dartmouth at the present time. S. S. Rutherford Jr., son of good old Steve, 1908, who is entering the fresh- man class. Richard Farrington whose Pop George was 1912 and Grover H. Fox, whose father Grover F. was 1913, are sophomores. John Detlefsen, son of Doc, 1908, is a junior.

Philadelphia is proud to have one of its group on the Alumni Council. Sumner Emerson '17 is the first alumnus to represent Philadelphia on this body. We feel sure that he will uphold the honor of the club in fine style.
