WITH THE SUCCESS this year of the Dartmouth football team, unusual interest has been shown at the Club's football affairs. Several hundred alumni have attended the broadcasts of the various games. Much credit for the success of these broadcasts is due Josh Davis '27 and Dave Hedges '34 who assisted him. Approximately eight hundred went to the Yale game from New York on the special train that the club ran, and from all reports everyone had a great time. However, the railroad officials had their hands full keeping the train on the track coming back from the game. The special train to Princeton should also be a great success.

With the closing of the football season drawing near the entertainment committee is turning its attention to the Third Annual Dartmouth Dance sponsored by the Club which is to be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Commodore, Saturday evening, December 21. The same committee that ran the previous dance with John A. Weser '28 as chairman promises even a more gala affair than last year, with the "tops" in music, entertainment, and Dartmouth atmosphere. The committee believes it is conservative in estimating an attendance well over a thousand as there were in excess of 850 last year. "If you live within a hundred miles of New York don't miss this dance!"—a quotation from Bud Weser and he should know.
