Mrs. Abbie (Davis) Prouty, widow of Charles A. Prouty, died January 6 at the Orleans County Hospital, Newport, Vt., as a result of a fall and a fractured hip susstained some weeks before. She was nearly 83 years old. Both her sons have died, and four grandchildren are her nearest survivors.
