The Alumni Editor learns that Dr. Piper has just undergone a serious operation at the New England Baptist Hospital in the Roxbury district of Boston, and now is thought to be doing well, with excellent prospects of being able to return home soon. In the fall he had a severe contest with pneumonia, and was a long time in recovering from it.
