Dean Bill Makes Study
April1935

Dean E. Gordon Bill recently spent two weeks at the College of William and Mary, in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he went at the request of the newly elected president, Stewart Bryan, publisher of TheRichmond News Leader, to investigate various faculty personnel and educational problems of the college. Dean Bill's studies were directed primarily to the problems of the curriculum and admissions, two fields in which he has authoritative knowledge, through his present post as Dean of the Faculty and his former offices of Dean of Freshmen and Director of Admissions.

On his return trip to Hanover, Dean Bill stopped off in Washington for a half hour's conference with President Roosevelt.
