Hanover's second annual North Country Fair, increased this year to two full days, will be held in the Alumni Gymnasium on Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, it has been announced by Mrs. Ernest Martin Hopkins, who will again act as general chairman of the charity affair. The entire proceeds of the two-day festival will go to the Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, which serves a wide area in New Hampshire and Vermont.
The first North Country Fair was held in the gymnasium last April and met with tremendous success, attracting some 3,500 people and clearing approximately $3,000 for the Hospital. A huge North Country auto show will again be a feature of the Fair, and the two lower floors of the gymnasium will be given over to displays by New England merchants. In conjunction with this side of the air, a program of dances, skits, and other features will provide entertainment throughout the two days.
Sidney C. Hayward '26, secretary of the College, is secretary of the committee in charge of the North Country Fair, and Max A Norton '19, bursar of the College, is treasurer.
