The news has just been received by your Secretary of the sudden death of our classmate Hal Harman. We understand that the cause was an unsuccessful operation for appendicitis. Since graduation Hal has been in the oil business and up until 1930 located in China. His last address was sent in by Hal in June of this year as Malone, N. Y. The obituary section will contain all the details which we have been able to obtain, and we record our deep sorrow in the passing of another loyal son of Dartmouth and 1912.

In the October issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE there appeared an obituary notice of the death of Albert B. Dudley of our class. His passing occurred on March 8 in Manchester, N. H. Dudley was in college for the first two years. Since that time he had been engaged in farming. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, and a son, to whom our sympathy is extended.

As Time Marches On a new department opens up for class news—the sons and daughters of 1912ers. There is Waldo Gray Academy—and playing end on the football team as a senior and headed Dartmouth way. At the same Vermont Academy—in his first year—Henry Kimball Urion Jr. son of Heinie. Wallace T. Jones 3d—playing end on the Pomfret School team—a senior now and a candidate for next year's Green freshman team. Bill Remsen—son of Dick—a star on the Junior Choate team and believe it or not—heavier and bigger than some of the Dartmouth varsity. Dick Remsen Jr.—star in tennis and Badminton and a super-star on the golf links—member of the varsity Cherry Valley Golf Club team of Long Island. Dutch Waterbury with his boy at Kent ready for Dartmouth next year. Jogger Elcock's boy will be heard from any day now and don't we remember that Dartmouth 10 Princeton 6 played in New York.

In Hanover we have the following sons of 1912 in the freshman class: Alfred S. Eiseman Jr.—Robert P. McElwain—Scott A. Rogers Jr.

which will be necessary to publish our Class Report. This is one book which we intend to make as nearly perfect as we know how, and to do that will require the cooperation of each man in promptly returning the necessary information and letters.

This is the last issue in 1936—50 a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
