Dartmouth folks around here are pretty pleased with the way Walter I. Hetfield '29 has taken charge of the Republican City Committee in Plainfield. Even in the face of the Democratic landslide, he succeeded in electing every local Republican candi- date except the two Councilmanic aspirants in the Fourth Ward of the city. He is rapidly getting to be a big shot.
