THE CLUB RECENTLY signed a new lease maturing September 31, 1937 for the premises it occupies at 24 East 38th Street. Through the untiring efforts of Nathan C. Lenfestey '13, treasurer of the club, the new lease was worked out on very advantageous terms. In the past, the service management of the club has been under the control of the Allerton House (now the Midston Club). However, under the new lease the club assumes this service and so far, the first time in its history, is operating as an independent unit. Already the club has taken on a brighter appearance under the supervision of George E. Kennedy '29, chairman of the House Committee, all the rooms are being renovated, new draperies and carpets added wherever necessary, floors scraped and polished, and many other improvements made.

In the Metropolitan Squash Associations' leagues, the club team had a very successful year finishing at the top of the class "C" division and second to the Downtown A. C. in the class "B" division. The team was composed of: C. W. Comiskey 'l5, captain, J. W. Hubbell '21, O. H. Hicks '2l, A. K. Marsters '3O, L. H. Weld '21, A. G. Lundquist '23, and Milburn McCarty '35.

Our bridge team, which last year won the intercollegiate Bridge Tournament, almost repeated their feat again this year but were nosed out by Princeton by a margin of "70 points in the last match of the year. The Yale Club tied with Princeton, Dartmouth taking third. The bridge team was composed of: Thurmond Brown 'O6, captain, H. D. Halstead 'll, C. A. Russ 'O6, M. G. Rollins 'll, G. C. Steeves 'n, J. F. Steeves Jr. 'll, A. S. Eiseman 'l2, J. T. Heenehan 'l4, O. H. Hicks 'si, R. V. Rubens '24, S. Z. Wormser '27, J. J. Kennedy '27, N. Bernard '23, and H. MacVean '3l.

Since the new year the classes of '05, '06, '14, '27, '28, and '34 have held dinners at the club. The Thayer School graduates also held a banquet at the club last month.
