The Dartmouth Outing Club has finally become privately established in the Mount Washington Region. This was accomplished with the rental of a vacant office building, which the Club has changed into a bunkhouse, on the state highway just south of Gorham. The Gorham Ski Lodge, as it is now known, was opened March first. Although it has no eating facilities, it offers sleeping accommodations for twenty people at a time. The Lodge is open to all D. O. C. members free o£ charge, while nonmembers are required to pay fifty cents per night. It is being filled to capacity during the spring holidays, proving itself to be a fine improvement over the previous hostelries of the Gorham Jail and the Berlin Y. M. C. A.
