Commencement Fares

An earlier announcement that a special Commencement round-trip rate of a fare and a third would be available for alumni and parents of seniors has been rescinded in view of the reduced railroad rates which go into effect in June. A round-trip fare under the reduced schedule will be lower than the special rate of a fare and a third under the old schedule. Alumni are requested to consult their local railroad agents to get the greatest advantage under the new rates.

Through sleeping cars will leave Chicago, Cleveland, and points enroute to White River Junction on June 11, arriving on Friday, June 12, at 12:35 P.M., Eastern Standard Time. Trains from Boston and New York will be available on the regular schedules, with parlor and sleeping cars added as needed. Plane service between Boston and White River Junction is available daily, with New York plane connections possible at Boston.
